The first makers of Greek yogurt in the U.S. is Voskos. Tried it before? I hadn’t, but they sent me some coupons to check out their product. I bought a number of flavors to get a good feel for them: Nonfat Apricot Mango, Nonfat Exotic Fig, Vanilla and Original Greek Honey. There were more to choose from too, a lot of fruit options and some plain ones too. I thought that they all tasted good, actually the fig one was just awesome which I found to be surprising as I’ve never seen fig flavored yogurt before. My son just loves honey and really liked that cup. It’s so great that I can actually get him to eat a ton of Greek yogurt which is so healthy, and the only thing I need to draw him in is some honey, which is also healthy. The brand prides itself on how thick their yogurt is. I love it most people I know do as well, some need the fruit or honey flavor to help out while others don’t mind it plain. If you are someone that is not into thicker yogurt this might not be the product for you.

Most of you have tried Greek yogurt and know it’s benefits, but for those of you that haven’t it has much more protein than regular yogurt. Voskos actually has two times the amount of protein as in regular yogurt. It’s packed with probiotics but the milk they use don’t have any antibiotics. They do not use any hormones or preservatives, and keep from using artificial flavors and colors.

As mentioned we are big fans of some of the more unique flavors like fig and honey. We’ll buy Voskos just because it’s great to have found a Greek yogurt with unique flavors. Their Nonfat Apricot Mango is award winning and may knock your socks off too!
