Xtrema CookwareI always love having a big omelet for breakfast . Pour in some veggies to make it healthy and lots of cheese and I am a happy woman! Even my kids and my husband love it too, a rare good that we can all agree on. I recently got an opportunity to review 9.5″ 100% Ceramic Omelet Skillet. I was really excited to try out this skillet because I never had any ceramic kitchen appliances before, so this would be a long awaited adventure for me.

“Savor the healthy difference with Xtrema Cookware today.

Xtrema– where versatility and beauty combine to deliver the best cooking experience.”

When I first got the shipment, I can tell you that the attractive appearance of this 100% Ceramic Omelet Skillet cannot be ignored. It’s just a perfect size to make your own omelet in the morning

9.5" 100% Ceramic Omelet Skillet

Unlike copper, the ceramic surface does not corrode and needs no polishing. This is the main reason why I really wanted to see and test it out for myself. Xtrema ceramic cooking surface is non-scratch, so unsafe toxins won’t leak into your meals. You can use the all-purpose omelet pan in the oven, the broiler, the microwave and the barbeque grill. Ceramic cookware is probably the most versatile cookware out there! Don’t worry though, this skillet is actually pretty light and designed to put ease into sliding your eggs from the skillet to the plate!

So before I tell you my experience, let me tell you a bit about Xtrema Cookware

+ Non-scratch: You have the freedom to use any utensils: nylon, silicone and wooden.

+ Versatile: Built to withstand extreme heat and cold, each piece can go directly from oven to freezer. Whether you want to cook on the stovetop, broiler, grill or microwave, you can do it all with Xtrema.

+ Easy to Clean: Spend more time enjoying your food and less time cleaning up after it with Xtrema’s super easy clean-up … you can even stick it in the dishwasher!

+ Practical: With Xtrema, your cooking time is reduced and your food will stay hotter longer.

+ Healthy: Your food will not only taste better, it will be healthier because as mentioned it won’t leak from the non-toxic ceramic glaze surface…this may be the most important reason to go with Xtrema.

+ 100% Green: Not only is cooking with Xtrema healthy for your family, it’s also friendly to the environment. From the earthy-friendly production practices and inorganic natural minerals used in construction to the safe ceramic glaze alternative to harmful PFOA coatings of most other popular non-stick cookware, Xtrema is eco-friendly.

+ Handcrafted: Each piece is handcrafted to uphold the strict quality standards of the world’s finest ceramic cookware.

So here’s my total experience after using it for 3 week

* * I really love the attractive appearance, and the size isn’t too small to make a good sized dish, or too big to be a storage burden.

** It’s pretty light weight and good on extreme heat! I was scared that I am going to break it but it’s built to last

** Safe on dishwasher and very easy to clean with your hands

** I don’t see any scratch after using it daily for 3 weeks.

** I feel like I can cook our eggs faster than usual

I love a good omelet. Your review convinced me I need this pan. However, I can’t afford to spend $100. for one pan.

This pan looks like it would work well. I have seen other ceramic coated pans in the store, but the handles are really narrow and look like they would be uncomfortable to use. A 9.5″ pan is a little small, but just for eggs or omelets it would be a good size. The only major drawback I see is the price. $100 for just an omelet/egg pan is a little steep. Thanks for the info.

I can never cook an omelet right. Every time I try to fold it I end up with scrambled eggs and veggies w/cheese. I would love to have something to help me make the perfect omelet but I don’t think a pan is going to cut it.

This would be perfect for all the different things I cook in my skillet, especially scrambled eggs. I hate that if I let them go, they end up sticking. Sounds like a great product but I don’t have $100 to spend on a single household item, let alone it being a skillet.

I love omelets, the ceramic skillet sounds like a life saver! My frying pans are so old that the food always sticks to the bottom and gets all mushy and destroyed. I might try this one you mentioned some time soon! Kitchen tools are a must for those who like to cook (like me). :D
